Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,
As Co-Chairman, Brother David Whitehead and I would like to thank the Most Worshipful Grand Master the honorable Jerry R. Ellerson, the trustees of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio, and RW Rommey Stephey, for their leadership and support of the Voter Awareness program. Because of their support and wise council , our efforts have been successful!
We partnered with the Ohio Unity Coalition, Labor, Faith, and Community groups to Engage, Educate and Mobilize our Ohio Communities on issues that affects their lives and futures! All across Ohio the committee supported projects like the Black Vote Matter Bus Tour, Souls To Polls, Voter Registration. We also sponsored Candidates and Educational Forums on our Facebook Live Page - "Voter Awareness in Ohio”.
We were elated to see our Grand Master, as well as the Grand Lodge Trustees, the Craft, the Order of Eastern Star (O.E.S.), and others from across the state who took the time to stand in support of the Black Vote Matters Bus Tour. The Prince Hall Masons, the O.E.S, and Affiliated Bodies are making a difference in Ohio!
Members from the cities of Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Cincinnati, Youngstown, Toledo, and Chillicothe participated in a "Black Vote Matters Bus Tour" held on 7 August 2023 during 174th Annual Communication. Below are photos of the event.
We thank everyone for their continued support.
Fraternally Submitted,
Bro. Joseph Clark Jr AFSCME International Union Representative
